What does your chatting actually cost you? Not the headline commission: the full number, hiring, turnover and management hours included. Enter your current setup and the calculator prices all three scenarios on the same data: 100 % human, 100 % AI, and hybrid.

How much does an OnlyFans chatter really cost?

The short answer, the one everybody gives: 8 to 20 % commission on the revenue they generate. A model at 3,000 EUR a month with a chatter on 15 % costs 450 EUR.

The long answer sits elsewhere, and it is the one that decides your margin.

One miscalculation comes up every time: assuming two chatters on day and night shifts cost two lots of 15 %. They cost one. A chatter is paid on what they generate, not on the whole account — two people alternating on the same model split the same revenue, and the agency pays 15 % once. What the headcount multiplies is hiring, training and coordination hours. Not the commission.

That is exactly why the calculator separates them: the "commissions" line does not move when you add a chatter, while the other two climb.

The hidden costs commission does not show

Three items appear on no invoice and often outweigh the commission itself.

Hiring, multiplied by turnover. Finding a good chatter means posting the ad, screening, testing and deciding: count 5 to 15 hours. Training adds 2 to 4 weeks during which the person produces very little. The real problem is not that cost, it is its frequency: turnover in this job runs around 2 to 3 months. A one-off charge that returns four to six times a year is a fixed cost in disguise.

Team management. Scheduling shifts, reviewing messages, covering absences, replacing people at short notice, settling disagreements: 10 to 20 hours a week for a small team. Those hours are invisible because they are yours. They still carry a price: they are the hours you do not spend on acquisition, model recruitment or strategy.

Coverage gaps. A team covering 16 hours out of 24 leaves a third of the day unanswered. On OnlyFans, the buying window is measured in minutes: a fan who writes at 3 a.m. and reads a reply at 9 a.m. has had time to cool off. That shortfall is not an expense, but you pay for it.

The calculator converts the first two into euros at your hourly rate, and shows the third as a cost per hour actually covered. It is the only way to compare a commission with time spent.

Chatters, AI or hybrid: what each model changes

The 100 % human setup keeps emotional intelligence and closing on big-ticket sales. In exchange it carries a cost structure that grows with the team: every model you add needs more shifts, so more hiring, so more management hours.

The 100 % AI setup removes hiring, turnover and scheduling, and covers all 24 hours by construction. At Desirely, billing is per connected platform: a subscription from 0 to 89 EUR excl. VAT depending on the plan, plus a commission of 8.5 to 20 % on the sales the AI actually closed. No sale, no commission — the detail is on the pricing page.

The hybrid setup almost always costs more than 100 % AI, and that is expected: it adds a chatter, so their hiring and supervision. This calculator measures cost, not revenue — so it cannot show what makes hybrid win, which is human closing on big-ticket sales. Read it this way: if the gap between hybrid and 100 % AI is 900 EUR a month, the question becomes "does my closer bring in more than 900 EUR of extra sales?". In a structured agency, the answer is yes. The AI absorbs volume — discovery, follow-ups, routine sales — while a chatter keeps the high-value conversations. Watch out for one reading trap: the AI handles roughly 90 % of messages, but not 90 % of revenue. High-value closing stays human, and it concentrates the large amounts. That is why the calculator's slider is set on the share of revenue handled by the AI, not the share of messages — count on 60 to 75 %.

How to read the result

Three figures deserve more attention than the total.

Cost as a share of revenue. It is the only indicator comparable from one agency to another. Below 20 %, your chatting structure is healthy. Above 35 %, it eats your margin whatever your turnover.

Cost per hour covered. It cancels out the effect of size and answers the real question: am I paying for presence, or for gaps? A cheaper team that only covers 12 hours out of 24 often loses on this line.

Manager hours reclaimed. The most underestimated number. Twenty hours a month handed back, at 35 EUR an hour, is 8,400 EUR over a year — before counting what you produce with them.

If all three scenarios land close together, your team is well sized: the question becomes coverage, not cost. 1. What is Desirely?

Desirely is an AI chatting assistant designed specifically for OFM agencies and models. It automatically manages fan conversations on OnlyFans, Reveal.me, Uncove, and MYM. It handles everything from discovery (the initial chats to get to know a fan) to inactive fan follow-ups and basic sales like PPVs and scripts. The AI adapts to the tone, vocabulary, and personality of each model to keep every interaction natural and authentic.

2. Who is Desirely for?

Desirely is built for OFM agencies that want to absorb more volume without hiring new chatters, solo managers handling multiple models who do not have enough time for chatting, and high-volume models who want to delegate the relationship side of the work, like discovery and repetitive replies, so they can focus on content creation and high-value sales.

3. Will AI replace my chatters?

Yes, it is possible, but that is not the goal. Desirely is designed to highlight a hybrid model: AI handles volume (discovery, follow-ups, qualification chats, simple sales of scripts and PPV, including price negotiation), and your chatters focus on high-value interactions (complex negotiations, managing big spenders, custom content). A human can step in at any time on any conversation.

4. What makes Desirely different from other chatbots?

Three main differences. First, Desirely is not just another GPT wrapper; it is an in-house conversational architecture specialized in OnlyFans dynamics, including discovery, escalation, PPV sales, and fan follow-ups. Second, our approach is relationship-first. The AI focuses on building a genuine connection with the fan before trying to sell, unlike basic bots that spam offers from the first message. Third, the product was co-developed with real OFM agencies. Every single feature is designed to solve actual, real-world needs.
