Why the OnlyFans name is your first marketing tool
On OnlyFans, your name is not just an identifier. It is a core part of your positioning, and it carries more commercial weight than people realize.
It directly affects acquisition. OnlyFans has an internal search engine, and fans often type keywords (things like "blonde", "milf", "domina", "fitness") before clicking a profile. A name that includes a relevant signal gains passive visibility on the platform. On external channels (Twitter, Reddit, TikTok, Instagram) that drive most of the traffic to OnlyFans, a consistent name available everywhere makes it easier to build a brand that gets followed, noticed, and shared.
It prequalifies the persona. A creator named "Luna.bunny" and one named "Domina.Vex" send two very different messages to fans before they have even seen a photo. The model persona should be announced from the name itself, which filters the right audience upfront.
The 6 criteria of a strong name, in order of importance:
Memorable (8 to 14 characters, sounds good, easy to remember after 5 seconds)
Easy to spell (no accents, no numbers mixed with letters, no ambiguous characters like 0/O or 1/l)
Available everywhere: OnlyFans, Twitter (X), Instagram, Reddit, TikTok in parallel
Consistent with your persona (the name should say 30% of what you sell)
Differentiating (avoid "amybabe", "lunamodel", "sexygirl21" and other generic names)
Legally safe: no copyrighted trademarks, no terms banned by OnlyFans (official, references to a minor age)
It is complicated, but not impossible, to change later: OnlyFans lets you change the display name whenever you want, but the profile URL stays fixed. So a bad name from the start means either a full migration and starting over on the SEO side, or living with it.

Dark: gothic, night, mystery vocabulary. For dominant, alt-goth, and light BDSM fetish personas.

Sporty: animal and nature vocabulary. For fitness, athletic, and yoga/gym/sports niche accounts.

Natural: chill, beach, linen, summer vocabulary. For girl-next-door, natural beauty, no-makeup, and lifestyle niche personas.
Examples: sunny.willow, breezy.sage, summer.soul, coastal.vibes, linen.smile
You can combine multiple vibes in the generator (for example, Cute + Dark for a "dark cute" mood). That is often where the most unique names are born. Once your name is chosen, the next step is to build your first message library: our OnlyFans script generator creates sales scripts tailored to the persona you just selected.
Verify availability and avoid errors
A name you love is worthless if you can't claim it on the platforms that matter. Here is the checklist to go through before lock in a name.
1. OnlyFans. Go to onlyfans.com/[your-name]. "User not found" page or empty account means it is available. Active profile means you need to change it.
2. Twitter (X). Check x.com/[your-name]. This is the main traffic source in the OFM space; having the handle is non-negotiable. Twitter is one of the 21 essential tools for an OFM agency.
3. Instagram. Same logic. Instagram regularly bans accounts linked to OnlyFans, so pick a safe version (no mention of OF in the name).
4. Reddit and TikTok. Reddit for community and adult subs; TikTok for virality (with a name that can bypass moderation).
5. .com Domain. Optional but useful to build a solid brand over the long run and set up an email capture channel.
Free tools to move fast: Namechk.com or Knowem.com check your name across 50+ platforms at once. For adult platforms that are often poorly indexed, manual checks remain the most reliable way.
7 mistakes to avoid at all costs:
Your real first + last name. Linking civil identity and your OnlyFans account creates long-term risks (future employers, doxing, family exposure). For official declarations, which must use your real identity, check out our guide on declaring OnlyFans income in France.
A name that is too long (> 16 characters) which gets cut off in OF views and is hard to type.
Mixing numbers and letters in the middle ("amyb4be21" is worse than "amybabe21").
Special characters or accents. OnlyFans only accepts Latin letters, numbers, periods, and underscores.
Imitating a famous creator. This labels you as a copycat and ruins your credibility. This is one of the 10 mistakes that kill an OFM agency within 6 months.
Terms banned by OnlyFans: "official" (reserved for verified users), references to under-age (teen, young, 18), and copyrighted brands.
Not checking other platforms. You secure it on OF, then realize it is taken on Twitter and Insta. Too late.
Once your name is approved and available, you can move to the next step: structuring your multi-platform presence and starting your first chats. For agencies scaling from 1 to 10 models, this step should be integrated into your model onboarding.
FAQs
Answers to your questions.
Here is everything you need to know before you get started.
1. What is Desirely?
Desirely is an AI chatting assistant designed specifically for OFM agencies and models. It automatically manages fan conversations on OnlyFans, Reveal.me, Uncove, and MYM. It handles everything from discovery (the initial chats to get to know a fan) to inactive fan follow-ups and basic sales like PPVs and scripts. The AI adapts to the tone, vocabulary, and personality of each model to keep every interaction natural and authentic.
2. Who is Desirely for?
Desirely is built for OFM agencies that want to absorb more volume without hiring new chatters, solo managers handling multiple models who do not have enough time for chatting, and high-volume models who want to delegate the relationship side of the work, like discovery and repetitive replies, so they can focus on content creation and high-value sales.
3. Will AI replace my chatters?
Yes, it is possible, but that is not the goal. Desirely is designed to highlight a hybrid model: AI handles volume (discovery, follow-ups, qualification chats, simple sales of scripts and PPV, including price negotiation), and your chatters focus on high-value interactions (complex negotiations, managing big spenders, custom content). A human can step in at any time on any conversation.
4. What makes Desirely different from other chatbots?
Three main differences. First, Desirely is not just another GPT wrapper; it is an in-house conversational architecture specialized in OnlyFans dynamics, including discovery, escalation, PPV sales, and fan follow-ups. Second, our approach is relationship-first. The AI focuses on building a genuine connection with the fan before trying to sell, unlike basic bots that spam offers from the first message. Third, the product was co-developed with real OFM agencies. Every single feature is designed to solve actual, real-world needs.
5. How much does it cost?
Desirely is billed per connected platform. One platform equals one account (OnlyFans, MYM, Uncove or Reveal) for one of your models. Each platform has its own subscription. For each platform, you choose the plan that best fits your needs: * Free – €0/month (excl. VAT), 20% commission * Core – €29/month (excl. VAT), 15% commission * Pro – €59/month (excl. VAT), 10% commission * Ultra – €89/month (excl. VAT), 8.5% commission You can mix and match plans however you like. For example, the same model can be on Ultra for OnlyFans (where they generate the most sales) and Core for MYM. Commission only applies to sales generated by the AI, after platform fees have been deducted. No sales, no commission. The more platforms you connect, the lower your subscription cost per platform automatically becomes: * 5 platforms → 10% off * 10 platforms → 15% off * 20 platforms → 20% off * 50 platforms → 25% off Example: An agency with 5 connected platforms: 2 on Ultra and 3 on Pro. * Subtotal: (2 × €89) + (3 × €59) = €355/month (excl. VAT) * Volume discount: 10% off (starting at 5 platforms) * Total subscription: €319.50/month (excl. VAT) Plus commission, charged only on AI-generated sales. Monthly billing is available, or save 30% with annual billing. No hidden fees. No setup fees.
5bis. Do I choose one plan, or one plan per platform?
One plan per platform. You don't buy a single subscription for your entire agency: each account (OnlyFans, MYM, Uncove, or Reveal) for every model gets its own plan, and you choose its tier independently. How to choose a platform's tier: A starting platform -> Free or Core A platform doing well -> Pro A platform that's crushing it -> Ultra (lowest commission rate) This means you can mix and match tiers as you like. Example: Model A: OnlyFans on Ultra + MYM on Core Model B: OnlyFans on Pro + MYM on Free = 4 connected platforms, 4 plans, each with its own tier. Why upgrade your tier? The higher the tier, the more the subscription costs, but the lower the commission on AI-powered sales. A platform generating high sales volume therefore becomes more profitable on a higher tier. You can easily upgrade or downgrade a platform's tier as its performance changes.
6. How does sales attribution work (AI vs human)?
It’s simple: whoever triggered the sale gets it. If the AI sent the last message or piece of content before the fan paid, the sale is attributed to the AI and the Desirely commission applies. If a human chatter sent the media or the sales script, the sale belongs to them, even if the AI kept the conversation going in the meantime. The human can take back the conversation at any time and recover the sales that come from it. No gray area.
7. Can I try it for free?
Yes. You can get started with the Free plan, with no time limit. See the Free plan terms on the pricing page: https://www.desirely.co/en/pricing
8. What platforms does Desirely work on?
Desirely works with Reveal.me, OnlyFans, MYM, and Uncove. Our Chrome extension connects and syncs your models directly to your Desirely account.
9. Are my data and my models' data secure?
We know that in the OFM ecosystem, OnlyFans account security and content protection are top priorities. That is why Desirely was built with a strict policy: your models' content (photos, videos) is safely stored and used solely to send PPVs and sales scripts to fans, nothing else. No data is ever shared or sold to third parties. Your human chatters do not have access to DMs or the vault through Desirely. You maintain complete control of your accounts, and you can disable the AI for any fan at any time.
10. I’ve already tried an AI-powered chatting tool and it was terrible. Why would Desirely be any different?
Most AI tools on the market simply plug into ChatGPT with a basic prompt, resulting in generic, irrelevant messages. Desirely is built on an in-house conversational architecture developed by Célestin, our co-founder and AI engineer. Specialized in the exact chat dynamics between models and fans on OnlyFans, it was co-created with OFM agencies who use it daily. The easiest way to see the difference is to try it. Our Free plan requires no commitment and has no time limit.
