Fan Lifetime Value (LTV)
Definition
Lifetime Value (LTV) in OnlyFans management is the total value a fan generates over the full life of their subscription, including subscriptions, PPV, tips, and customs. It is the metric that helps determine how much you can invest to acquire a fan and still stay profitable. A higher LTV means more effective chatting and stronger retention.
Real-world example
A fan stays subscribed for 4 months on average and spends $80/month ($10 subscription + $50 PPV + $20 tips). Their LTV is $320. If acquiring that fan through marketing cost $5 in effort, the ROI is huge.
Best practices
Calculate LTV by fan segment (VIP, regular, promo). Invest more in retaining fans with high LTV. Use LTV to set acquisition spending limits.
Key figures
Formula: LTV = average monthly revenue per fan × average subscription length (in months). Median LTV: $30-$80. VIP fan LTV: $200-$1,000+.
Common mistakes
Calculating LTV only on subscriptions without including PPV and tips. That massively underestimates the true value of fans.
