Desirely vs Substy: which AI chatting tool to choose in 2026?

Substy is an agency CRM born in Bordeaux, with an AI chatting tool inside. Desirely is an AI chatting tool, with no CRM. On the only part that compares, the AI in the DMs, both bill on net sales, at almost identical tiers. Everything comes down to what each plan includes, and to what you are willing to hand over.

The verdict in brief

The verdict in brief

  • Substy covers OnlyFans, Fanvue and, since 5 September 2026, MYM. Desirely covers OnlyFans, MYM and Reveal. Fanvue is only at Substy, Reveal only at Desirely.

  • Substy logs in with the creator’s account email and password, and handles OnlyFans’ SMS code and face verification itself. Desirely goes through a Chrome extension: no password typed, none stored.

  • Substy’s hybrid mode, which hands a fan to a chatter past a spend threshold, is reserved for the Elite plan at $99. At Desirely, a chatter takes over any conversation and hands it back, on every plan, Free included.

  • Substy keeps a memory per fan, like Desirely. But its inactivity follow-ups are announced as “soon” on its product page; Desirely follows up on your delays, up to three times per type, from the free plan.

  • On price, the tiers look alike: 15%, 10%, 8.5% of net on both sides. Substy is cheaper at entry ($0 at 15%, against €0 at 20% or €29 at 15% at Desirely); Desirely is cheaper at the 10% and 8.5% tiers (€59 and €89 against $69 and $99).

Platforms: Fanvue on one side, Reveal on the other

Substy runs its AI on OnlyFans, Fanvue and, since 5 September 2026, MYM. On MYM, the launch is recent and the scope narrower: no Mass DM, no dynamic lists, six automations at most even on the Elite plan. Fanvue is connected through the platform’s official OAuth, which is the cleanest way to plug in a third-party tool.

Desirely runs its own on OnlyFans, MYM and Reveal, with the same features on all three, and it is designed for multi-platform: a model is one card, you link a platform to it in one click, and it inherits the persona, scripts and settings with nothing to set up again. At Substy, each platform is an account to connect and configure. Uncove and Telegram are announced at Desirely, not sold. Fanvue is not on the roadmap.

So the choice is simple on this point: an agency established on Fanvue goes to Substy, an agency established on Reveal goes to Desirely. On OnlyFans and MYM, both answer, and the rest of the page decides.

Login: a Chrome extension, or the creator’s password and 2FA

Substy is a web app, with nothing to install. Its website does not explain how it connects to OnlyFans; its public developer documentation does. The “Connect creator account” call requires the email, the password and the platform. If OnlyFans asks for a code, Substy “asks the platform to send an SMS verification code”; if OnlyFans asks for a face check, Substy “starts the platform’s face-verification step” from its own system, and the creator completes it herself. Session cookies and platform tokens are then kept on Substy’s side, “excluded from responses” of the API but stored all the same. A “Substy Auth” Chrome extension exists on the Web Store, published by the former Bordeaux company, but the website never mentions it; its Web Store listing only says it lets you “easily connect your account to Substy.ai”.

Desirely goes through a Chrome extension. You are logged into the model’s account in your browser, as usual, and the extension passes that session on to Desirely. You never type the password into Desirely, two-factor authentication stays set the way you want it, and a face check happens on OnlyFans, not in a third-party tool. The price to pay: an extension to install.

This is not a plumbing detail. An agency running twenty accounts hands twenty passwords, twenty sessions and twenty identity checks to one, and none of that to the other.

The AI: two Full Autos, only one hybrid for everyone

Both tools have the AI reply on its own, without a chatter approving each message. Substy claims it: “Can the AI replace a human chatter? Yes.” Neither offers a suggestion mode.

The difference is in how the human comes back. Substy’s hybrid mode “automatically disables the AI as soon as a fan has spent an amount set by the agency”, $40 for instance, and the fan goes to a chatter in the CRM. It is a threshold switch rule, with spend and subscription-age criteria. It is reserved for the Elite plan at $99 per creator; on Starter and Pro, the AI is turned off fan by fan or on the whole account.

At Desirely, hybrid chatting is not a plan but a way of working: the AI turns on or pauses at three levels, the model, the account, the conversation. A chatter picks up any thread, including a big buyer the AI has warmed up, then hands it back; the AI resumes taking into account what was said in between. It is included in every plan, Free included. What there is not: an automatic switch past an amount. At Desirely, an alert warns the chatter; no rule turns the AI off.

Persona and memory

Both tools build a persona per model; Desirely does not turn the AI on until the profile is filled in. Substy asks for a profile (name, age, main language and up to five others, a 1,000-character description, measurements) and “style presets” with a tone prompt and separate emojis for conversation, sexting and negotiation. Desirely asks for a profile in five sections (identity, lifestyle, preferences, intimate life, conversation style), with forbidden topics and everyday expressions.

On memory, the two are on a par, and that is rare on this market. Substy “remembers each fan, recognizes their style, history, and level of interest”, and fills in the fan’s information in the CRM itself, on every plan. Desirely keeps a Smart Note per fan (first name, age, situation, job, payday, limits), filled by the AI, editable, and reused weeks later so as not to ask a question twice.

Follow-ups

This is where Substy lags its own promise. Its product page says: “You will soon be able to program AI to act on its own based on: fan inactivity, unread message, or time since last reply.” Its actual automations fire on events (first subscription, fan online, purchase, subscription expiring, birthday, message received), with a random delay and spend filters; none says “silent for three days”. On the Starter plan, only the welcome message is available; six automations on Pro; all on Elite. The follow-ups that exist everywhere are the ones inside sales scripts, after an unbought media.

Desirely follows up at three moments: after a welcome message with no reply, after a silence, and when the fan comes back online on Reveal. Each type takes up to three follow-ups, on delays you set in hours and minutes; a reply from the fan resets everything, and the AI does not chase a fan who said “good night”. It is included from the free plan.

Scripts, prices and negotiation

Both AIs sell only from scripts prepared in advance, with media and prices. Substy writes it: “The AI works from scripts you create in advance”, and selling outside scripts is announced for later. Its scripts take a fixed or “smart” price, between a floor and a ceiling, bundles with five intensity tiers, and import from Infloww. Its selling pace is set to Slow, Normal or Aggressive, Slow being reserved for paid plans.

At Desirely, a script is a sequence of steps, each with its media, its price, its optional reduced price, its teaser and its post-media message. Negotiation is bounded between the price and the reduced price, in steps, after about seven messages without a purchase. A script sells only once per fan, the AI does not show a media already seen again, and a purchase only counts once the platform confirms the unlock. We did not find the equivalent of these last two rules in Substy’s documentation; that does not mean they do not exist.

Safeguards and alerts

Substy provides a banned-words checker, set per agency, and a “dynamic sexualization” that adapts the register to the fan. Its terms list the usual prohibitions. Its notifications go out on Telegram, Discord, by email or in the app, for a purchase, a new message, a handoff to a human, a new subscriber, an exhausted script or a low balance.

Desirely has a “Flagged content” alert, a “Human intervention required” alert (meeting, refund, complaint), and custom alerts by prompt or keywords. They go out on Telegram, privately or on an agency channel, with a link to the conversation. Substy has no alert written in plain language; Desirely has no Discord alert.

Pricing: the same tiers, not the same plans

This is the most striking point of the comparison: the two grids have the same percentages. Substy takes 15% of net at $0, 10% at $69, 8.5% at $99, per creator and per month. Desirely takes 20% at €0, 15% at €29, 10% at €59, 8.5% at €89, excl. VAT, per connected platform. It is the same unit on both sides: at Substy, a creator on OnlyFans and MYM is two accounts, so two subscriptions; at Desirely too, except that her two accounts live on the same model card, with a single persona and a single set of scripts to fill in. Both compute on net, after the platform’s cut, and only on what the AI sold. The difference is in what the plan unlocks: at Substy, Slow mode comes with Pro, hybrid and all automations with Elite; at Desirely, the four plans have the same features and only the commission changes.

Take a MYM account doing €2,000 of AI media sales in the month. MYM keeps 27%: the creator’s net is €1,460. To read the table, we treat the dollar as a euro; on the review date, the exchange rate works against Substy.

Substy Starter Desirely Core Substy Pro Desirely Pro Substy Elite Desirely Ultra
Subscription $0 €29 $69 €59 $99 €89
Commission 15% = $219 15% = €219 10% = $146 10% = €146 8.5% = $124 8.5% = €124
Month total $219 €248 $215 €205 $223 €213
Hybrid mode no yes no yes yes yes

At entry, Substy wins: its free plan is at 15% where Desirely’s is at 20%, and an account that wants to pay nothing each month saves €29 at Substy. As soon as you pay a subscription, Desirely is below, by 10 at each tier, and hybrid is included where Substy needs the $99 plan. Both offer an annual rate: about 30% off in both cases, Substy displaying “Save 25%” but charging $48 and $69 a month on annual.

Two differences in logic. Substy goes through a credit balance, topped up in crypto by default or by card; its terms provide that refunds are made in credits, at its discretion. Desirely gives €10 of credits at sign-up and bills in euros excl. VAT, per platform, with a volume discount from five platforms.

When Substy is still the right choice

  • Your agency is on Fanvue: Substy answers there, Desirely does not.
  • You want a CRM, chatter payroll, Mass DMs and link tracking in the same tool as the AI; outside this comparison, but it is Substy’s core.
  • Your fans write in German, Spanish or Portuguese: Substy’s AI adapts to the fan’s language, Desirely’s speaks French or English.
  • You want an automatic switch to a chatter past a spent amount, and the Elite plan fits your budget.
  • You want no subscription at all and accept 15% of net: Substy’s Starter is cheaper than Desirely’s Free.

When Desirely is the better choice

  • You refuse to hand the password of an OnlyFans or MYM account to third-party software, or to let it handle the creator’s 2FA and face verification.
  • Your chatters and the AI must work on the same accounts, passing conversations to each other, without paying $99 per creator for it.
  • You rely on follow-ups on your delays to reactivate silent fans, right now and from the free plan.
  • Your agency is on Reveal, or you want an AI that reads the fan’s online presence.
  • You want a tool and support in French, with a company in France.
  • You pay a subscription: at equal commission, Desirely is cheaper at every tier.
  • You do not want to pick a plan for its features: at Desirely they are all in Free, and only the commission changes.

What this comparison does not cover

Substy is first an agency CRM: shared inbox, fan assignment between chatters, dynamic lists, Mass DM, tracking links, posting of posts and stories, per-chatter stats, schedules, payroll, built-in OnlyFans browser, public API. Desirely does none of that: it is an AI chatting tool, with its pricing and its leak scanner alongside. If you are looking for a CRM, the question is not “Desirely or Substy”; this page only compares what happens in the DMs.

Chat with us

1. Is Substy free?

Yes, the Starter plan is $0 a month, with no time limit.

  • Commission: 15% on the net of sales made by the AI.
  • Included: Normal and Aggressive modes, and the welcome message as the only automation.
  • Not in Starter: hybrid mode, reserved for the Elite plan at $99.

At Desirely: the Free plan is €0 with 20% commission, every feature included, hybrid and follow-ups included.

2. Do you have to give Substy the OnlyFans account password?

Yes. Substy’s documentation requires:

  • the account email and password;
  • triggering OnlyFans’ SMS code and face verification, which the creator completes herself;
  • keeping the session cookies on Substy’s side.

At Desirely: a Chrome extension passes on the session already open in your browser. The password is neither typed nor stored.

3. Does Substy offer a hybrid mode?

Yes, on the Elite plan at $99 per creator: the AI turns off when a fan passes a spent amount set by the agency, and the fan goes to a chatter.

At Desirely: a chatter takes over any conversation and hands it back to the AI, on every plan. No automatic switch by amount, but alerts.

4. Does Substy work on MYM?

Yes, since 5 September 2026, with limits Substy states itself:

  • no Mass DM, no dynamic lists, no tracking links;
  • six automations at most.

At Desirely: MYM runs with the same features as on OnlyFans and Reveal.

5. Does Substy follow up inactive fans?

Not yet on inactivity: its product page announces that feature for “soon”.

Its current automations fire on events, such as a fan coming back online or a subscription expiring, on the Pro and Elite plans.

At Desirely: follow-ups on your own timing, up to three times per type, from the free plan.

6. Do Desirely and Substy compute on gross or on net?

On net in both cases: the commission applies to what is left to the creator after the platform’s cut, and only to sales closed by the AI.

  • The tiers: the same, 15, 10 and 8.5%.
  • The subscription: $0, $69 and $99 at Substy; €29, €59 and €89 at Desirely.
  • Desirely adds: a €0 plan at 20%.

7. Can you use Substy as a CRM and Desirely as the AI?

Technically, yes: both tools connect to the account separately.

But two tools writing to the same inbox get in each other’s way: one does not see what the other sent. If you keep Substy for the CRM, turn its AI off on the accounts Desirely runs.

At Desirely: the AI turns on or pauses per account and per conversation.
